A monitor is a screen connected to the Central Processing Unit which allows us to view all the calculations and programs running in the system. Old monitors are tubed ones and can be harmful for the eyes if used for a long time. But the new screens are LCDs  and LEDs which have the HIGH EYE Technology qualified by degrees or numbers. The new screens are highly definite (high definition). these screens are highly preferable for gaming and graphics contents. There are even touch screen monitors which sense your touch and operate the computer.
